I did it, well almost.

May 9, 2012

Health book (free), psychology, history books (3, sharing with Marcy), my new lunch bag. Not pictured is my intro to jazz and popular music because the book store still doesn't have it. ) #day18

I have three more days of classes before my finals on the 23rd.

I can’t believe that the semester is almost over.

This semester has been pretty interesting. I learned that if I had been able to be as organized in high school as I am now I would have done much better in my classes.

I think my favorite class this semester is Psych. I took it in high school and liked it then but didn’t do nearly as well.

I’m taking a US history class, (up to 1877). I like it and understand much more of it than I did in high school. It’s probably the hardest of my four classes.

I’m taking a music class, Survey of Jazz and Popular Music. I really like it. It’s pretty easy and I hear music in a much different way than I did a few months ago.

My final class is Health. This is probably the most laid back class you could ever take.

With the exception of my history class I’m pretty sure I’ll have A’s as my final grades. (I think I’ll have a B in history which is more than ok).

I’ve been going over my schedule and what classes I need to take to be able to transfer in two years. I think I have everything figured out. When some of the classes are taken may change, but I think I have all of my classes mapped out how I want to take them.

My new notebooks for school.

It’s going to look something like this:

Spring 2012:
Health in Action
History to 1877
Music
General Psych

Summer 2012:
Beginning Algebra I
Walking for Fitness

Fall 2012:
Photography
College Composition
Beginning Algebra II
Walking for Fitness

Spring 2013:
American Government (political science)
Advanced Composition – Critical Thinking
Intermediate Algebra
Intro to Education

Summer 2013:
Elementary Statistics
Child Development

Fall 2013:
Physical Geology w/Lab
Public Speaking
ASL

Spring 2014:
Human Biology
Social Psychology
Intermediate ASL

I’ll also probably be adding an additional Early Childhood Education class called Child, Family, and Community during one of my two final semesters.

If I complete all of these things I plan on transferring to CSU Humboldt and working towards a Masters in Education, with a minor in English and ASL.

It’s going to be a lot of work.

A LOT.

Knowing what I’ll be taking and when, relatively speaking, is going to make things a little easier though.

I have faith that it’ll work out without causing me too many panic attacks.

quick update

May 6, 2009

Well, we’re back home again. The Dr. is off on Wednesday, so no paperwork was processed. We’ll try again tomorrow.
