We had Easter dinner with “family.” A “family” that is a little bigger this year.
My friend’s brother moved back to California with his kids just before Christmas. It’s been nice getting to know them.
Suki and M had a great time playing and giggling like the girls they are. M is only a few years younger than Suki so they generally get along pretty well.
Amber wasn’t there she went to Redding with her boyfriend and his Grandma for the day. She was missed but I’m glad she was able to go.
Baskets, eggs, and Easter grass were scattered all over the house.
We had an Easter egg hunt on the backyard because the one at the park was a flop.
Dinner was simple and very filling. Yes, that is a biscuit on my plate. No I didn’t eat all of it. Yes, I regret eating what I did.
I brought strawberry shortcake for dessert. There wasn’t much left over.
We dyed eggs at about 8pm. It took about an hour and we were all ready for bed when it was over.
The Easter baskets were left on my bedroom dresser to keep the dogs from having an all-you-can-eat-extravaganza.
